Realme has finally announced its new Realme GT series in India today. The new GT series includes two new smartphones with flagship Realme GT 5G & premium mid-range Realme GT Master Edition. The good news is that both of them comes with a Qualcomm chipset and features 5G support.
Realme GT Master Edition:
Design:
Naoto Furukawa, an internationally acclaimed Japanese industrial design expert, designed the realme GT Master Edition. The realme GT Master Edition comes in Luna White, Cosmos Black and Voyager Grey colours.
The design of the smartphone is different from the usual smartphone design. The back cover is in cement grey and features the industry’s first 3D Vegan Leather design. It has the realme logo located on the right-hand side of the camera. It inherits the style of the Master Edition smartphones of Naoto Furukawa. Fukasawa designed the realme GT Master Edition to evoke travel memories. He used the suitcase as a metaphor for the joys associated with travelling to inspire the youth to embrace the brand spirit of realme to #DareToLeap.
The new Realme GT Master Edition indeed looks similar to Realme GT 5G from the front with a single punch-hole display and slimmer bezels. The design reminds us of the Oppo Reno6 series as it looks a lot similar to it. Anyway, on the back, the device carries triple rear cameras aligned vertically with LED flash and a gradient back design. It measures 8.7mm thick and weighs 178g.
Specs:
The new Realme GT Master Edition will sport 6.43 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rates. It also comes with a 360Hz touch sampling rate and features an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The new Realme GT Master Edition is indeed powered by SD778G SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. It features a 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. There is a 32MP with f/2.45 aperture selfie shooter placed under the punch-hole.
As its GT-series phone the brand has also included the GT-mode on the new Realme GT Master Edition. It comes with Dynamic Storage Expansion and Liquid Cooling tech support. The device also comes with a Superlinear speaker & Hi-Res Audio.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, Wifi 6e, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port and 1216 Linear Speaker, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification.
All this is packed with a 4300 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. It runs on Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0 on top.

The realme GT Master Edition is priced at Rs.25,999/- for 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB at Rs.27,999/- & 8GB+256GB at Rs.29,999/- in India. It will go on sale from Aug 26 through Flipkart.
Realme GT 5G:
Design:
Realme GT 5G completely known and boring design with a rectangular camera module on the back. The device features a glass back and comes with a glossy finish to give it premium looks. The Realme GT 5G shown in the image is in Coral Blue color and we even have glass and leatherback too on the list.
The phone also comes in a Dual-tone Vegan Leather Design that will use two different kinds of material in two different colors to achieve a sense of speed that matches the high performance.
