Motorola has finally announced the much-awaited premium mid-range lineup aka the Motorola Edge 20 series in India. Earlier last month we saw Motorola launching the new Motorola Edge 20 series in Europe. Now it finally makes its way to Indian shores.
The Motorola Edge 20 comes in Frosted Emerald and Frosted Pearl colours. The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion arrives in Cyber Teal and Electric Graphite colours. The Motorola Edge 20 will go on sale from Aug 24 whereas the Edge 20 Fusion from Aug 27. Both of them are exclusive to Flipkart in India.
Motorola Edge 20:
Lets start with the vanilla version of the new Motorola Edge 20 series aka the Motorola Edge 20. The new Motorola Edge 20 will look completely different design this time it will remind us of the Oppo Reno5 or Reno6 series. Yes, the new Motorola Edge 20 will feature center punch-hole display on the front. On the back, the Motorola Edge 20 features Reno6 series like triple camera module aligned vertically with LED flash.
It comes in two colors with Frosted Gray and Frosted White colors. We can expect the Motorola Edge 20 to feature metal chassis and glass back this time with Moto Dimple on the back. It measures 7.1 mm thick and weighs 165g.
Motorola Edge 20 will sport 6.7 inches FHD+ OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate support. It also features HDR10+ & 10-bit colour support. The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Motorola Edge 20 is powered by SD778G SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Sadly, no support for microSD card slots.
It will feature a 108MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture coupled with a 16MP ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, 30x digital zoom & LED flash. It features a 32MP selfie shooter.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, 5G NSA, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.1, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Frequency GPS, USB Type-C port, & NFC.

Motorola Edge 20 Fusion:
The new Motorola Edge 20 Fusion is the cheapest among all with a slightly different camera layout from the others. The new Motorola Edge 20 Fusion features the same centre punch-hole display on the front.
On the back, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion comes with a different camera layout that looks like Mi 11 like camera module featuring triple cameras with LED flash.
Motorola Edge 20 Fusion will sport 6.7 inches FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate support. It also features HDR10+ & 10-bit colour support. The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Motorola Edge 20 Fusion is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 880U SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device also features support for a microSD card slot. It will feature a 108MP main sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP depth sensor with LED flash. The device features a 32MP selfie shooter.
