Vivo-backed iQOO launched its iQOO Z3 5G smartphone in India a couple of months ago. It appears the Chinese company is gearing up to launch its successor in India, dubbed iQOO Z5.
The Indian market could soon see the launch of the upcoming iQOO Z5. Mukul Sharma has shared this information. As a result, the device has been discovered in the IMEI database, revealing its model number and moniker.
Despite this, not many details about the upcoming smartphone with model number I2018 have been revealed yet. There is a possibility of the iQOO Z5 being officially launched in the coming days or weeks since several agencies have already certified the device.
We expect the company to release teasers for its features ahead of its official launch. With the smartphone set to launch just a few months after its predecessor, it’s likely to feature minor upgrades. The current iQOO Z3 comes with a 120Hz LCD display panel, so the iQOO Z5 model could come with an AMOLED display panel offering a 120Hz refresh rate.
Instead of the Snapdragon 768G SoC found in its predecessor, the device may come with faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset. Additionally, a fingerprint sensor should be mounted on the side of the device.
We will have to wait a bit longer to find out more details about the upcoming iQOO Z5 smartphone, including its specifications, features, memory variants, and pricing.
