CEO Madhav Sheth recently teased the launch of the Realme 8i and Realme 8s in a YouTube Q&A session. Digit leaked the Realme 8i’s renders and specifications in association with @OnLeaks, known for its leaks. With triple cameras, a punch-hole cutout, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, the Realme 8i is a cheaper version of the Realme 8. Realme 8i’s top-left corner features a hole for the selfie camera and narrow bezels. The phone has triple cameras integrated into a square module along with an LED flash. There is a volume rocker and a SIM tray section on the left side, and the fingerprint sensor is embedded in the right power button. At the bottom of the device are a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, speaker grille, and USB Type-C port. In the image, the phone is shown in brown, but there may be other options at launch. For a better grip, the edges are curved.

Specs:

According to reports, the device features a 6.59-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole for taking selfies, and slim bezels. Due to its budget cost and 8.6mm thickness, and 194 grams weight, the phone could have a plastic body. Realme 8i will be the first phone powered by MediaTek Helio G96, featuring two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.05GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.

Realme 8i

Realme 8i has a triple camera setup on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP portrait camera, and a 2MP macro camera. A 16MP snapper is onboard to take selfies and videos, and a fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side. The phone will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery. The charging speed has not been revealed, but it is expected to be at least 30W.
