Jio is yet to disrupt the Indian market again now with its killer budget 4G phone powered by Google. Yes, Jio is all set to introduce the new JioPhone Next in India later next month. At the annual AGM meet Jio unveiled the first look along with some highlights of the new Jio Phone Next. Later we got a leak revealing the specs of the device.
Now we got almost everything about the new JioPhone Next including the pricing details. Yes, the new JioPhone Next will turn out to be the cheapest ever 4G smartphone in India after all.
As per the source, the new JioPhone Next will sport a 5.5 inches HD+ TFT display with a resolution of 1440*720p. As expected the JioPhone Next will feature a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio display with thicker bezels. Further, the JioPhone Next is now powered by older SD215 SoC which is also powering the Nokia 1.4.
It is coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM and probably gets 16GB/32GB storage eMMC 4.5 with a microSD card slot. In addition to Google’s Camera Go and Duo Go apps, it will be interesting to see how other optimizations were added.
It has an 8MP front-facing camera and a 13MP OmniVision OV13B10 for its rear camera. The JioPhone Next will run on Android 11 Go Edition out of the box. All this is packed by 2500 mAh battery with standard 5W charging support.
The new JioPhone Next will cost Rs.3499/- in India.
