Surprise!! Google has now officially revealed the first look along with the key specs of the new flagship Pixel 6 series. Yes, Google has confirmed that Pixel 6 series is all set to launch later this year and will inlcude two models with Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro. With this new teaser Google revealed the design, processor & camera details ahead of the official launch.
As per the post, we can confirm that the new Pixel 6 series will look similar to the previous leaks. Yes, the new Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro will get complete redesign this year and features new center punch-hole display on the front. On the back, the Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro gets huge horizontally placed dual and triple rear cameras with LED flash.
The new Pixel 6 comes with metal chassis along with glass back. The Pixel 6 Pro features glossy metal frame along with glass back. Both of them gives us an retro styled smartphone with unique design. Both the Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro comes in three colors with some models featuring dual-tone back.
Google Tensor:
Further, the post also revealed the chipset that is powering the new Pixel 6 series. Yes, Google will move with Apple way and launch the first ever Pixel with its custom chip Google Tensor this year. The new Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro are now powered by the Google Tensor SoC which is designed by Google. The chipset is manufactured by third-party similar to Apple A-series SoC.
Google claims that Pixel 6 series will be the fastest and safest Pixel ever launched. The chipset comes with tons of AI & machine learning capablities. The main reason of Google moving with custom chip is the additional AI and ML features to the processor.
Lastly, Google also hinted the new camera setup on the new Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro. The new Pixel 6 series will inlcude both ultra-wide and same wide main sensors on the back. The Pixel 6 Pro will include an additional telephoto lens with 4X optical zoom support.
Initial hands-on revealed that Pixel 6 series matches the video recording capabilties of iPhone 12 Pro Max. The post also says that Pixel 6 series can shoot even better videos than Apple current flagship.
Further, Google confirmed that both Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro will come with higher resoultion updated AMOLED displays. Yes, the Pixel 6 will sport FHD+ AMOLED flat display with 90Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 6 Pro features curved OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and might use LTPO panel.
