In September, Xiaomi will host its global launch event. This conference will mark the debut of Xiaomi’s 11T series. In addition, details about three additional upcoming devices have surfaced.
Xiaomiui reports that Xiaomi is working on three smartphones: Evergreen, Evergo, and Ingres. The first two models are part of the same series aka the Redmi 10 series. The last model aka Ingres is a mystery.
Model numbers K16 and K16A are assigned to Evergreen and Evergo, respectively. They will both be powered by MediaTek chipsets. The camera setup will be exactly the same but with two different main sensors.
The upcoming pair will consist of a 50MP main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a telemacro lens. For these phones, Xiaomi will source two independent 50MP sensors – the OmniVision OV50C40 and Samsung S5KJN1. A Sony IMX355 sensor will be used for the ultra-wide-angle lens.
Unfortunately, we don’t know anything about Ingres. The next few days should reveal more about it. Moreover, we’re interested in gaining more information about Evergreen and Evergo.
By the specs, these phones are probably midrange smartphones. In this case, they will launch with Redmi branding, not Xiaomi branding.
