In January 2021, the Vivo X60 Pro+ series was launched. The lineup features three smartphones: Vivo X60 Pro+ (Vivo X60 Pro), Vivo X60 Pro+ (Vivo X60 Pro+) and Vivo X60 Pro+ (Vivo X60 Pro+). All three smartphones were praised for being fast and are Vivo’s entry into the premium mid-range to the high-end smartphone market.
Even though it has only been six months since Vivo X60 launched its devices, a new leak suggests Vivo is already working on the Vivo X70 lineup. It is also interesting to note that specifications and a launch date for the Vivo X70 range in India have been tipped.
Gizmochina‘s new report claims that Vivo will launch Vivo X70 Series in September 2021 in partnership with the Indian Premier League. Vivo, the title sponsor for IPL 2021, is well-known. This year, the Indian Premier League was suspended because of the ongoing COVID-19 virus pandemic.
The tournament is expected to resume in the United Arab Emirates between September and October. Vivo is IPL’s title sponsor, and it is expected that the tournament will continue in September. Therefore, Vivo X70 was launched in September by the brand.
If Vivo does indeed plan to launch Vivo X70 models during IPL, it is highly possible that the upcoming Vivo X70 lineup will be made it to India. IPL has always been an Indian tournament. The specifications of Vivo X70 series smartphones are also detailed in the publication.
According to the publication, the Vivo X70 range will be very similar to the Vivo X60 line, and there won’t be much difference between them. According to the report, Vivo X70 will remain with Qualcomm’s chipset in India.
