Apple’s compact tablets may have made many people smile a while back, but it wasn’t delightful for all. iPad mini 5th-gen is similar 2015 edition. This is why I believe so strongly.
It looks like you won’t have to wait for the iPad Mini (2019) or its undoubtedly improved sequel. And, even better, all indicators point towards the “biggest design in the nine-year history of this product” being realized by the end of 2021.
You don’t have to wait long; everyone says
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman(via 9To5Mac), who happens to be one the world’s most trusted sources of inside information about unreleased “iDevices,” said that the sixth-gen iPad Mini “should be a try” for a commercial launch sometime in the fall.
If this is a difficult prediction for you, you can check out that several other trusted leakers and publications called for just such a device to come to market in such a short timeframe. The iPad mini 6 will look very much like the iPad Air 4, but it will be smaller.
The iPad mini (2021) has been firmly established. We can also expect an iPad Air (2020), which will feature razor-thin bezels with no home button.
This doesn’t mean that fingerprint recognition will be replaced by state-of-the-art Face ID technology. A Touch ID sensor is likely to be placed at the top of the next-gen iPad mini and double as a power button… just like the Fourth-Gen iPad Air.
Although the iPad mini 6 is not quite as large as the 10.9-inch iPad Air 2020, the iPad mini 6 has a smaller screen and can fit an 8.5- to 9-inch display in a very similar body to the “bezelicious,” 7.9-inch iPad Mini 5.
Apple can keep the iPad mini 6’s price low.
It’s not yet clear precisely what Apple-made process will reside beneath the hood of the highly anticipated sixth-generation iPad mini. However, you can expect a significant performance increase over the 7.9 inch A12 Bionic-powered iPad mini released more than two decades ago.
The A14 Bionic SoC in the iPad Air 4 can be a possibility. It’s certainly not a powerful processor iPad Pro (2021). By all standards, it will likely help the iPad mini (2021) trump Samsung’s top mid-range options in terms of raw speed and thus find its way into the overall. The best tablets money can buy this the year.
The iPad mini’s old design will be outdated. It remains to see how much money the sixth-generation iPad mini will cost. With all the upgrades and significant design changes, the price will likely go up over the $399 (Rs.30,000/-) and higher predecessor.
Apple could be considering increasing the base price of its next-generation iPad Air. This will likely keep OLED enthusiasts in line until 2022… perhaps 2023.
