Looks like Xiaomi is back with some powerful laptops at cheaper price points with its sub-brand Redmi. Yes, Xiaomi will now introduce an cheaper laptop with RedmiBook in India on Aug 3. Ahead of the official launch we now got the complete specs along with pricing details of the new RedmiBook 15 leaked.
As per the source, the new RedmiBook 15 will sport 15.6 inches FHD IPS LCD panel. The laptop is now powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel Core i3 & Core i5 processor coupled with 8GB RAM. It will ship with 256GB/512GB PCIe SSD internal storage. It runs on Windows 10 OS out of the box which can be updated to Windows 11 OS later.
RedmiBook 15 comes with support for dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.0. The laptop features HD Webcam for video calling and comes with dual 2W stereo speakers. The other connectivity options include USB Type-C 3.1, USB Type-A, USB 2.0, HDMI, and 3.5 mm audio jack. Lastly, the source has no details about the capacity of the battery but will ship with 65W fast charger with the laptop.
The source also claims that Xiaomi could also launch an 14 inches RedmiBook along with RedmiBook 15 at the Aug 3 launch. Lastly, the source confirmed that RedmiBook 15 will be priced under Rs.50,000/- in India. Sadly, Xiaomi will not launch Mi NoteBook series anytime soon in India and one have to rely on RedmiBook 15 for now.
