The Xiaomi Redmi K50 line will launch later in the year. Redmi already teased the new flagship Redmi series. The company confirmed that the K50 line would offer faster charging and a brighter screen. Other departments, such as the battery, camera and etc., will also get an upgrade. Redmi smartphones will be getting some details already.
A report claims that the K50 will have Qualcomm’s next flagship SoC (the Snapdragon 895).
Redmi K50 & Redmi K50 Pro:
Redmi K50 & Redmi K50 Pro is expected to debut by Xiaomi later this year. Tipster Mukul Sharma has shared key details from the Redmi flagship phone, citing a Weibo message. It says that the vanilla K50 will support 67W fast charge. Pro models will, however, have a higher charging speed at 100W. According to reports, the K50 Pro will be able to charge at 120W.
The new vanilla model will come with a 48MP primary sensor camera. It is identical to the Redmi K40. Xiaomi is likely to make some improvements. It could be a new or larger sensor. The Pro model will be equipped with a 108MP primary cam.
According to Qualcomm’s decision, the Snapdragon 895 SoC (or Snapdragon 898) SoC will be featured on the Pro model. An earlier report stated that the devices would include a centrally aligned hole-punch camera cutout, as well as an in-display fingerprint scanning.
Xiaomi has not yet confirmed any leaked specifications. There are no details on the launch time. Xiaomi could announce the Redmi K50 series in December, alongside the Mi 12 collection.
