Looks like we got another breaking news from OnePlus after its announcement of a merger with Oppo. In the past, OnePlus and Oppo had made announcements about merging their R&D and also the custom skin with ColorOS. We also got the official blog post revealing the software update policy for the new OnePlus smartphones.
Later we even got leaks about OnePlus planning to ditch Oxygen OS for ColorOS with OnePlus 9T. Now we got another juicy information leaked by one of the tipsters on Weibo for the hardware part of OnePlus. As per the tipster, OnePlus will turn out to be the flagship lineup from Oppo next.
Further, the tipster also mentions that OnePlus phones will be targeted similar to the Huawei P-series phone which is basically for a camera-centric flagship. So with this move can Oppo make a huge improvement in terms of the camera on OnePlus? We have to wait and see what Oppo brings from the upcoming OnePlus smartphones.
The tipster also mentions that Oppo’s Find X series will turn out to be the second flagship similar to the Huawei mate lineup. So we can expect better performance-based flagship from the Find X series starting from next year. Yes, these big changes will be done right from next year’s flagship lineup from Oppo.
