Looks like the day is finally here as the OnePlus much-awaited mid-range flagship aka OnePlus Nord 2 is officially confirmed. Yes, OnePlus has finally shared the first teaser of the upcoming smartphone OnePlus Nord 2. Recently we got a leak about the new OnePlus Nord 2 may launch on July 24 in India.
Now with the new teaser of the OnePlus Nord 2, we can confirm that the previous leak turns out to be true indeed. The new teaser highlights some of the upgrades and features of the new OnePlus Nord 2. Ahead of the official launch the new teaser video gives the first glimpse at the OnePlus Nord 2.
At the end of the video, we can see the front look of the new OnePlus Nord 2 sporting a flat punch-hole display located on the left. It features an earpiece located above the display which might turn out to be a front-firing speaker. The company also reveals the key specs of the new OnePlus Nord 2.
As expected the new OnePlus Nord 2 will indeed be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI SoC. The new OnePlus Nord 2 turns out to be the first-ever OnePlus smartphone powering the MediaTek chipset. OnePlus also revealed that they have worked with new MediaTek’s Dimensity Open Resource Architecture to bring out new AI-based features on Nord 2.
The teaser also promises OnePlus Nord 2 to feature premium camera performance when compared with OnePlus Nord. The OnePlus Nord 2 will also get a better display with new AI Colour Boost technology. The company also states OnePlus Nord 2 comes with improved heat management and efficient power consumption.
Further, the OnePlus also confirmed that the OnePlus Nord 2 to launch globally including India on July 22.
