In the past, we got a massive leak revealing the specs of the new Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro 5G. We also got the renders showing the new Pixel 6 series in full glory, which looks different compared to previous generations. Now one of the industry insiders has just leaked out the display details of the much-awaited Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro 5G.
As per the tipster, Ross has taken Twitter to share the display details of the upcoming flagship from Google with Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro 5G. As per the source, both the new Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro 5G will feature a Samsung Display OLED screen on the front. Both of them will come with a punch-hole notch display similar to Pixel 4a.
Further, the tipster mentions that Pixel 6 might feature a flat or rigid OLED display this time. This is probably to do some cost-cutting for the new Pixel 6 5G, which may cost a lot cheaper than the Pixel 6 Pro.
We saw Pixel 4a, featuring the rigid OLED panel, which went on sale for Rs.30,000/- in India last year. So probably, the cost of a rigid OLED panel is one-third of the flexible OLED screen and helps to save some manufacturing cost which indirectly helps to reduce the final price.
Apart from this, nothing much about the new Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro 5G has been leaked.
