In the past, we saw Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 XL various leaks right from renders to the pricing and key specs. We also got to know that Google might launch its flagship sometime in Oct 2021.
Display Details:
Now ahead of the launch, we got the new leaks from one of the popular sources that reveals the display and camera details of the Pixel 6 series. According to the source, the new Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 XL will now sport 1080p & 1440p screen resolution display respectively.
Further, the source also reveals the selfie punch-hole notch diameter of the new Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 XL. The new Pixel 6 will come with the smaller punch-hole measuring of 55 pixels in diameter. Further, the larger Google Pixel 6 XL comes with 70 pixel in dia huge notch.
Selfie Camera:
Moing on the source also expects that this year’s Pixel 6 series will get an better selfie camera after all. The mention of special p21_front_setup feature is the reason behind bigger punch-hole notch on the Pixel 6 XL as it comes with 4K video recording support.
This might be the first ever Pixel smartphone could feature the physical LED flash on the selfie camera. We are still not sure about this leak and take it as pinch of salt as Google may surprise with this selfie centric feature.
Video Recording feature:
Lastly, the new Pixel 6 series will also get improved digital & optical zoom while video recording. The new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 XL will now come with 7x digital zoom when its recording at 60fps. This might be an quite huge jump from 3x zoom on the predecessor at 60fps.
Also the source revealed that Google might ditch this camera feature right from Pixel 6 series. Yes, the Super Res Zoom will be completely disabled from the vanilla camera app of the new Pixel 6 series.
