After the launch of the Mi 11 series that arrived with a 108MP main sensor which also made its debut with mid-range Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. We even saw Xiaomi was the first to launch the 108MP main sensor camera with Mi Alpha which was a concept phone later it made its debut with Mi CC9 Pro in China.
Now we got new reports about Xiaomi again setting the new target with the first 192MP camera phone. In the past, we saw leaks about Samsung working on a 200MP camera sensor which is likely to launch later this year. The tipster confirmed that Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship to feature a 192MP main sensor which will use 16 in 1 pixel binning tech.
This sensor will get the output of 12MP resolution & might come with 4x zoom support. Further, the source also mentions that Xiaomi might use the top-end upcoming flagship SM8450 SoC aka SD895 SoC. This chipset will be fabricated using the latest 4nm process making it smaller and even faster than its predecessor. It will come with Kryo 780 CPU cores along with Adreno 730 GPU, Spectra 680 ISP & Snapdragon X65 5G modem.
The Xiaomi upcoming flagship will ship with a highly curved display with a single punch-hole notch. Sadly, no under-display camera tech on this flagship. The source expects that this flagship could make its debut by Dec 2021 or early Jan 2022.
