Looks like we got another bad news for those hardly waiting to buy Samsung’s budget flagship aka the Galaxy S21 FE. After the huge success of Galaxy S20 FE, the company had plans to replace the Note series with the FE series this year. But looks like that’s not going to happen anytime soon as per the new reports.
As per the reports, Samsung has put a hold on the mass manufacturing of Galaxy S21 FE parts in South Korea. Yes, Samsung has now suspended the production of Galaxy S21 FE due to ongoing chip shortages. Samsung had officially warned at the beginning of 2021 regarding the increase of prices for the chips due to shortage by next quarter.
Now some of the tipsters revealed that the reason behind stopping the Galaxy S21 FE is due to quality issues. Few other tipsters stated that Samsung has not yet started the production of Galaxy S21 FE. But the previous leaks we can confirm that Galaxy S21 FE will not launch along with Galaxy Z Fold3 in August anymore.
Further, the report also confirmed that Samsung has canceling part orders which indirectly states that it’s been delayed indefinitely now. As the company wants to keep the stock of SD888 SoC reserved for foldable Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3.
Another reliable tipster has stated that Samsung might not launch the Galaxy S21 FE anytime sooner than Sept 2021. And if this problem persists the company might cancel the Galaxy S21 FE completely.
Bloomberg report also mentions that Samsung has not denied any of these rumors and stated that they haven’t decided to suspend the production of an affordable flagship.
We hope Samsung launches the affordable flagship Galaxy S21 FE this year as it’s been tough for the brand to sustain itself in this competitive market.
