Looks like Samsung is developing many new technologies for the future of foldable smartphones. As of now we hardly find one or two foldable devices which are priced comparatively higher than expected. Due to a lack of resources, it might take a bit longer to develop new technologies. In the past, we saw many patents filed by Samsung for foldable devices out of which hardly a few of them are official.
Now we have received some new renders showing the alleged 2 in 1 aka the Galaxy Z Fold Tab. The source confirmed that these renders are based on the new patent filed by Samsung. In the past, the same source also revealed Samsung working on a tri-fold smartphone. Now the same source has joined hands with popular designer Yanko Design to make these renders.
From the renders, we can see the new Galaxy Z Fold Tab comes with dual folding screens on either side of the main display. This time Samsung has managed to out-fold the two-screen to give a smartphone-like experience and when unfolded it becomes a huge tablet. Just not this Samsung has also managed to add the S-Pen support to this foldable which will attach to the device on the side through a magnetic strap.
As per the source, the patent was filed by Samsung in November last year and has been published on WIPO on May 21.
