Looks like finally, we got a leak about when exactly the 5G telecommunication series will land in India. After the successful 4G launch, we are still struggling to get faster internet speeds in India. Now the wait is almost over as PM Modi might soon announce the next-gen of telecommunication in India.
As per the reports, telecommunication brands like Reliance Jio & Airtel has already begun trials of 5G in some part of the country. Later, the BSNL, MTNL, and Vodafone-Idea are about to begin the 5G trails in the coming months. As of now, there is no word about the spectrum auctions.
Now the new report hints that the 5G launch might be nearing in India as it might go official soon. As per the new report, PM Modi might announce the 5G network on Independence Day aka Aug 15, 2021. The report also adds “The major surprise of the launch will be that you will find a lot of Indian technology – be it in hardware or software – in it.
The sad fact is that the 5G will begin rolling out only after Aug 15 2022 that is next year’s Independence Day. No word about the 5G bands that will be launching in India as of now. More details will be out after the official announcement.
