After the launch of the OnePlus Nord replacement aka OnePlus Nord CE 5G in India, we now have another Nord series phone on the way with the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G. In the past, we got various leaks about OnePlus plans to launch the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G with a MediaTek processor for the first time. We even got tipped about the launch details for the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G.
Now we have spotted the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G on AI Benchmarks which confirms the specs of the phone. As per the listing, the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G is indeed powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and running on Android 11 OS out of the box. It is coupled with 8GB RAM and might ship with 128GB internal storage.
Apart from this nothing much about the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G is been leaked. More details about the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G will be out in the coming weeks.

Further, the popular tipster OnLeaks has now shared the early look at the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 5G. As per the renders, we can see the OnePlus Nord 2 5G almost looks similar to the OnePlus 9 series.
On the front, the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G comes with a flat punch-hole display with narrow bezels. There is an alert slider along with a power button on the right and volume rockers towards the left. The OnePlus Nord 2 5G features triple rear cameras aligned similar to the OnePlus 9 under the rectangular camera module with LED flash.
On the bottom, we got the USB Type-C port along with speaker mesh and SIM Tray. It measures 160 x 73.8 x 8.1mm.
What we know so far about the OnePlus Nord 2 5G:
The new OnePlus Nord 2 will indeed come with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. This time the new OnePlus Nord 2 will no longer get a dual selfie shooter instead will come with a single punch-hole display. It will feature a flat-panel 6.43 inches FHD+ display with a good screen-to-body ratio.
The source also tipped the price of the new OnePlus Nord 2 which will cost under 2000 Yuan (Rs.23,200/-) in China.
So looks like OnePlus Nord 2 will be cheaper than the predecessor this year probably due to the MediaTek chipset. Anyway, more details will be out in the coming weeks as the new OnePlus Nord 2 will launch in July.
As per the source, OnePlus Nord 2 will sport 6.43 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also gets in-display fingerprint scanner support. As expected it will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.
It features triple rear cameras this time with a 50MP Sony sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth or macro sensor with LED flash. On the front, we got a 32MP selfie shooter. All this is packed by a 4500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
