Motorola has now quietly introduced back its famous rugged phone series with Motorola Defy. Yes, the new Motorola Defy is made by UK-based rugged phone maker Bullitt Group. Motorola Defy will be available next week across European and South American markets.

The new Motorola Defy features “drop-proof” support which is able to survive falling from up to 1.8m onto the steel. Further, it comes with structurally reinforced PCB as well as a lanyard that somehow reduces the drops.
Not just that the deice also gets IP68 dust and water-resistant making. The Motorola Defy can withstand up to 1.5m of water depth for up to 35 minutes. Lastly, the device also comes with top-notch military spec 810H, resisting vibration, humidity, salt mist, and thermal shocks. It can also handle high-temperature differences between -30°C and 75°C for up to 30 minutes. You can even wash or sanitize the phone without much worry.
Design:
We can see that Motorola Defy comes with an ugly design and we expect to have one as it’s a rugged phone after all. On the front, the device features super thick bezels protecting all the sides of the display.
On the back, the Motorola Defy comes with a rubber body with some unique texture to make the device scratch-resistant. Further, the Motorola Defy features a similar camera layout found on many Motorola phones. It features triple rear cameras with LED flash and fingerprint scanner below it. It measures 10.9mm thick and weighs around 232g. The Motorola Defy will come in two colors with black and Forged Green.

Motorola Defy will sport 6.5 inches HD+ display with a resolution of 720*1200p. It comes with Gorilla Glass Victus on top for more protection it has been recessed into the frame by 0.5mm. The device is powered by the outdated SD662 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. It also gets a MicroSD card slot.
Motorola Defy features a 48MP main sensor coupled with a dual 2MP macro plus depths sensor and LED flash. On the front, the Motorola Defy features an 8MP selfie shooter. It comes with a 5000 mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. The Motorola Defy runs on outdated Android 11 with Moto UX on top.
The Motorola Defy will set you back with a price tag of €325 (Rs.28,800/-) in Europe.
