Huawei has now announced not one but three new premium tablets running on HarmonyOS 2.0 out of the box. Yes, Huawei is back with a new set of tablets that are customized with its custom OS. The new HarmonyOS 2.0 offers a desktop-like experience on the new MatePad Pro series. The home screen comes with a desktop-like experience & separate dock and widgets, a control panel, and a focus on reachability that shifts all in-app function bars to the side. It also adds mouse support coming with OS with live previews on apps.
Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 and 12.6:
The new Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 inches will sport 10.8 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display. The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.4 comes with 12.4 inches OLED display with a resolution of 2560×1600. Both the tablets come with 120Hz refresh rate support. It comes with a traditional tablet design with a selfie camera placed in the center.
It is made out of the metal back which measures Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 is 7.2 mm thick and weighs 460g. The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.4 is 6.7 mm thick and weighs 609g. Both of them feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 inches is powered by SD870 SoC whereas the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.4 comes with Kirin 9000E SoC. Both are coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options. It also gets 8 speakers to offer an immersive audio experience.
The new Huawei MatePad Pro 12.4 inches comes with a triple rear camera. It features 13MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide, and a 3D depth sensor with LED flash. There is an 8MP selfie shooter. The Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 features a single 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP selfie shooter.
The connectivity option includes Wifi-6, 4G LTE, 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, A-GPS, GLONASS, Support Huawei M-Pencil (2nd Gen), and USB Type-C port. All this is powered by a 7250 mAh battery on 10.8 inches with a 40W HUAWEI super fast charge. The MatePad Pro 12.6 packs massive 10,000 mAh battery with 40W wired, 27W wireless, and 10W reverse charging.
The new Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 & 12.4 inches is the first tablet to run on the latest Harmony OS 2.0. Both the MatePad Pros come in gray, green, and white colors. The new MatePad Pro 12.6 cost €799 (Rs.71,100/-) in Europe. The Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 cost 3799 Yuan (Rs.43,500/-) in China.

Huawei also introduced the more affordable tablet under the MatePad series with the new Huawei MatePad 11. The new Huawei MatePad 11 is nothing but the same Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 with downgraded internals.
The new Huawei MatePad 11 sport 10.95 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display. It comes with a resolution of 2560*1600p and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The Huawei MatePad 11 is 7.2 mm thick and weighs 469g. It features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Huawei MatePad 11 inches is powered by SD865 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Huawei MatePad 11 features a single 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP selfie shooter. It also gets quad-speakers to offer an immersive audio experience.
