Looks like Honor is back with some exciting flagship and mid-range smartphones under the new Honor 50 series. After announcing that Honor 50 would be the first in the world to ship with SD778G SoC. Now the company has officially revealed the launch date for the new Honor 50 series in China.
As per the short video post on Weibo, Honor officially announced that the new Honor 50 series will launch in China on June 16. Yes, the new Honor 50 series finally going official on June 16 at an event in Shanghai, China. Further, the teaser also shows the new Honor 50 series will feature a dual-ring camera design.
As per leaks, the new Honor 50 series will include three phones with Honor 50, Honor 50 Pro, and Honor 50 Pro+. Further, the benchmark listing confirmed that Honor 50 Pro and Pro+ will be powered by the same chip with SD888 SoC.
Previous leaks revealed the specs of the new Honor 50 Pro which sports a 6.79″ QHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen. It is coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The Honor 50 Pro packs a 4400 mAh battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless charging support. On the front, the Honor 50 Pro features a dual selfie camera with 32MP main and 8MP ultra-wide. On the back, the new Honor 50 Pro comes with 50MP main, 13MP ultra-wide, 8MP telephoto, and 3D ToF sensor with LED flash.
