Looks like Apple is finally bringing some major design changes to its affordable iPad Mini 6 this year. After the launch of the iPad Mini 5 which looks similar to the iPad Mini 4 with thicker bezels and Touch ID. Now the company is planning to get a major overhaul in terms of design for the iPad Mini 6.
Now the popular tipster has just leaked out the 3D CAD renders showing the new iPad Mini 6 in full glory. As per the source, the new iPad Mini 6 will remind us of the iPad Air 4 design as it looks similar to it. Yes, finally the new iPad Mini 6 will come with narrower bezels without the physical home button aka Touch ID.
On the back, we got the all-aluminum body with a single rear camera with LED flash. On the front, we just got a bezel-less display without any notch this time. As expected the iPad Mini 6 will get the Touch ID sensor mounted on the power button. On the bottom, the new iPad Mini 6 ships with a USB Type-C port this time with speaker mesh on either side. The source expects the iPad Mini 6 got insane speakers for the best sound quality.
The iPad Mini 6 measures 206.3mm x 137.8mm x 6.1mm which confirms that it is slightly bigger than its predecessor. Further, the source also leaked that Apple working on a smaller size of Apple Pencil made specifically for iPad Mini 6. Lastly, the source revealed that the iPad Mini 6 might debut along with iPhone 13 series sometime in Sept this year. The iPad Mini 6 might come in Silver, Space Gray/Graphite, and Gold colors.
