Looks like finally, Google is planning to launch the next budget Pixel with the new Pixel 5a. Earlier we saw leaks and also official confirmation about the Pixel 5a will launch this year. Now we got a new report that reveals the launch details of the budget Pixel 5a. in the past, we saw various rumors about Google might launch the Pixel 5a at Google I/O which didn’t happen.
As per the Bloomberg report, the popular analyst Mark Gurman, who has a good track record for Apple devices has tipped the launch timeline for Google Pixel 5a. According to the report, the new Pixel 5a will launch in the month of Aug this year.
Gurman stated that “Google Pixel fans, this summer is for you. Expect the Pixel 5a, the company’s next-generation, lower-cost handset, to be announced and released in August.” So probably Google will follow a similar launch strategy as the Pixel 4a which too launched in the month of Aug 2020.
Further, Google also confirmed that Pixel 5a will be launched in just two countries with the US and Japan this year the reason behind it was the ongoing chip shortage. Apart from this nothing much about the new Pixel 5a is been leaked. Previously we also got the 3D CAD-based renders showing the Pixel 5a in full glory which reminds us of Pixel 4a 5G.
