Looks like OnePlus is planning to launch an affordable 5G phone for India next month with the new OnePlus Nord CE 5G. As OnePlus has officially confirmed that CE stands for Core Edition which means an affordable phone in the works. So as expected with just after the day of the launch date announcement we now got the specs leaked.
As per the source, the new OnePlus Nord CE 5G might disappoint a few as it will not ship with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC anymore. Yes, the new OnePlus Nord CE 5G will be powered by the SD750G SoC but the source expects it could be priced lower than OnePlus Nord.
The new OnePlus Nord CE 5G will sport 6.43 inches FHD+ 90Hz refresh rate AMOLED display. So the good thing is that it still gets an AMOLED panel and not the LCD which is found on Mi 10i. The source also mentions that OnePlus Nord CE 5G will feature a 64MP main sensor along with two other sensors whose details are under wrap. We expect the OnePlus Nord CE 5G could ship with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth or macro sensor.
Apart from that, the device will ship with a 16MP single selfie camera. The source also revealed that the design of the new OnePlus Nord CE 5G will be inspired by the new OnePlus 9 series. So we can expect the OnePlus 9 series styled camera layout on the back.
