The company is looking to launch the successor with OnePlus Nord 2 along with another surprise phone OnePlus Nord CE 5G. Previously we got details about the new Nord 2 that might launch sometime next month.
Now the popular tipster has just confirmed that there will be not one but two new mid-range Nord series phones this year. Yes, the source revealed that OnePlus could launch both the new OnePlus Nord 2 and OnePlus Nord CE 5G in India. The source also mentioned that both the phones will be landing in India first by mid-June.
Apart from that, we got various leaks hinting about OnePlus moving with MediaTek for the next Nord smartphone. The new OnePlus Nord 2 will be the first OnePlus phone powered by MediaTek Dimesnity 1200 SoC. Sadly, no word about the new OnePlus Nord CE 5G but we expect it could ship with SD750G SoC. More details will be out in the coming weeks. The new OnePlus Nord 2 and OnePlus Nord CE 5G could be priced under 30K in India.
Further, one of the official OnePlus Websites has accidentally confirmed the launch date of the OnePlus Nord 2. Yes, the OnePlus UK webpage has now listed OnePlus Nord 2 which confirms that the device will launch soon. As per the report, the webpage is now taken down but the source managed to grab the screenshot. Further, the report states that the new OnePlus Nord 2 might go official on June 10. The second OnePlus Nord CE 5G could launch on June 25.
