Looks like the good news is here for those who were waiting for this Chinese brand to get back into the war zone. Yes, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is now confirmed to get back the Google apps support. Yes, Huawei sold the sub-brand Honor last year and just after a year of going independent we now got good news.
Recently, Honor announced that the upcoming Honor 50 series will be powered by SD778G SoC. It is scheduled for June launch. With Qualcomm started shipping the chips to Honor we are just left with Google action to enable the Services. Yes, Honor official tweet gets that confirmation that Google Services will be active for Global markets.
So we can expect the new Honor 50 series could be the first model to come with Google support for Global markets. Sadly we are still not sure whether Honor will bring the Honor 50 series to Indian shores or not at the moment. With Google Services being activated we could expect Honor might make a comeback to Indian markets sooner than expected.
Anyway, Honor confirmed that Honor 50 will be the first phone in the world to ship with SD778G SoC. We have to wait and watch at what price does the new Honor 50 gets launched.
