Looks like, after the iPad, Apple has now begun works on the new media player aka iPod Touch. Yes, Apple will launch the new iPod Touch later this year too which might be surprising as we hardly expected it. As per the new leaks, the new iPod Touch will remind us of the last year iPhone 12 series.
Yes, the new renders leaked show the iPod Touch in full glory which comes with iPhone 12 like body with just a single camera on the rear with LED flash. Yes, it comes with a flat display on the front and iPhone 12 like chamfered edges with an all-metal unibody design. Of course, the new iPod Touch (2021) will be available in multiple colors as the iPhone 12.
Further, the new reports also claim that iPod Touch will be launching sometime this fall. So basically the new iPod Touch (2021) will launch alongside with iPhone 13 series this Sept. On the front, the new iPod Touch (2021) will still carry a huge notch that comes with FaceID support.
This could be the first iPod to feature FaceID support as the 2019 iPod Touch arrived with thick bezels and a physical home button. We can expect a larger display on the new iPod Touch (2021) with either 5.4 inches or 6.1 inches. It could be powered by the same Apple A14 2021 SoC.
