The company is all set to launch its faster-processing chipset with the upcoming Mac Pro & new Mac mini next. After the great Apple M1 debut last year we saw Apple getting huge appreciation from fans. Now the company is all set to work on the successor to the M1 chip to expand its reach for the premium Mac Pro and Mac Mini lineup next. As per the report, the successor to Apple Mac Pro will come in two variants.
Yes, the Mac Pro with 20-Core chips, and the other with a whopping 40 core chip. This is coupled with a 64 or 128 core GPU along with RAM up to 64GB. It will also come with two additional ports on the chassis making it a total of four ports. The new Mac Pro is codenamed 2C-Die and 4C-Die.
Further, the Mac Mini will come with a new 10-core processor with 32 or 64 GPU support. It will also come with two additional ports on the chassis making it a total of four ports. Along with RAM support up to 64GB. Sadly, the Mac Mini project is still under the beginning phase and might be scrapped too.
Lastly, the source also hints at Apple working to add Apple Silicon to the high-end Macs in the near future.
