Sony is back with some new smartphone launches this year after not so good amount of sale last year. Sony had recently announced the next launch event which is scheduled to happen on April 14 in Europe. Now way ahead of the official launch we have got the key specs with pricing of the new Sony Xperia 1 III leaked.

Previously we saw leaks popping out for the next Sony flagship aka the Sony Xperia 1 III. Now one of the sources has managed to reveal the specs of the new Sony Xperia 1 III. As per the source, the new Sony Xperia 1 III will sport the first 6.5 inches 4K HDR OLED panel on the front. Do note that the massive 4K panel will even come with a 120Hz refresh rate along with HDR10+ and 10bit color depth support.
The new Sony Xperia 1 III is powered by SD888 SoC. It is coupled with 12GB/16GB RAM and 512GB storage space. It will feature triple rear cameras with 64MP main wide-angle lens coupled with 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP periscopic telephoto lens with 60x lossless zoom.
The new Sony Xperia 1 III will come with Cybershot camera optimization to give better picture quality. All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. It runs on Android 11 OS with Sony UI on top. The new Sony Xperia 1 III might arrive in markets sometime in June 2021. The source expects the Sony Xperia 1 III will cost whopping 8999 Yuan (Rs.1,00,500/-) in China.
It measures 8.4 mm thick and comes with premium metal chassis with a glossy glass back. It will still feature the same Sony design that we saw in the past. The Sony Xperia III will also feature a microSD card slot along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
