Looks like Realme has some more devices to launch later this month. After the launch of the Realme 8 5G and Realme Q3 series, the brand is looking to expand its IoT devices now. Yes, Realme has now scheduled another launch event later next week where the company will launch the successor to budget smartwatch Realme Watch and Realme Buds Q.
As per the tweet, Realm Malaysia has now confirmed the list of IoT devices that will launch in the country on April 30. The list includes the new Realme Watch 2, Realme Buds Q2, Realme Watch S Master Edition, Realme Buds Air 2 Neo, Realme Cobble Bluetooth Speaker, Realme Motion Activated Nightlight, and Realme Alkaline battery.
Realme Watch 2:
Ahead of the April 30 launch Realme’s official website has revealed the first look of the Realme Watch 2 along with specs. From the renders, the new Realme Watch 2 looks similar to its predecessor with hardly any changes. It still sports a square-shaped display along with polycarbonate straps. This time the strap on the short arm carries Dare To Leap branding.
We also got the user manual of the new Realme Watch 2 leaked. The new Realme Watch 2 will still sport 1.4 inches TFT display with a resolution of 320*320p. It gets a huge battery now with 305 mAh that is double that of the predecessor. The Realme Watch 2 will also get a Bluetooth 5.0 LE and IP68 rating making it dust and water-resistant. It is compatible with any phone that is running on Android OS 5.0 and above.
Further, the Realme Watch 2 will also feature 24-hours heart rate monitoring and SpO2 measurement support. The watch will also get standard features like sleep tracking, a meditation mode, support for app alerts, and music playback control. Lastly, the Realme Watch 2 will also get a whopping 90 different kinds of Sport mode.
Realme Buds Q2:
The next is the successor to last year launched cheaper TWS aka Realme Buds Q with the new Realme Buds Q2. The new Realme Buds Q2 looks similar to its predecessor and gets minor changes in terms of silicone tips. This time the Realme Buds Q2 gets an additional Blue color option which might be named Quite Blue.
Further, the Realme Buds Q2 also gets a huge jump in terms of latency right from 119 ms to 88 ms. Lastly, the company claims 20 hours of playback time on the Realme Buds Q2 which is impressive.
