Looks like we got another major leak for the popular Industry Insider and Analyst aka Kuo for the 2022 iPhone lineup. Recently we saw the alleged design renders of the upcoming iPhone 13 & iPhone 13 Pro. Now we have some new leaks coming for the 2022 iPhone 14 series.

We are still waiting for the 2021 iPhone 13 series and we now got the leak for the future iPhone aka the iPhone 14 series. According to the reports, Apple will finally ditch the Mini model starting from 2022. Yes, the iPhone 14 series will include only three models again with iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The source also confirmed the display sizes with two iPhones sporting 6.1 inches and two more iPhones with 6.7 inches.

The source mentions that two iPhone 14 Pro models will have 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches screen variant next year instead of 5.4 inches Mini version. Further, the report also revealed that the iPhone 14 Pro series will arrive with a 48MP main sensor that can output 12MP images with a resulting large 2.5μm pixel pitch.

The report also mentions that iPhone 13 series will still ship with the same 12MP camera sensor but with a higher 2.0μm pixel pitch. The 2022 iPhone 14 series would likely introduce support for 8K video recording.

The Analyst report also states that starting from 2023 Apple will add a periscopic sensor on the new iPhone Pro models and will also include the in-display Face ID solution.

Not just that the report also mentions the early details for the much-awaited Apple VR. The report states that Apple VR will feature not one or two but 15 cameras on both in and out of the device. With the help of 15 cameras, it will enable Apple to use a technique called foveated rendering. This feature helps to create a render where exactly the person looking at instead of the entire FOV.

According to the report, the Apple VR will be out by 2022.
