Google is all set to launch the budget Pixel aka the new Pixel 5a 5G to only two markets this year. We even got leaks suggesting that Pixel 5a 5G will look similar to Pixel 5 in terms of design and comes with almost the same internals.
Now ahead of the official launch we have got some of the key specs leaked of the new Pixel 5a 5G. As per the source, the new Pixel 5a 5G will still use the outdated SD765G SoC the same one powering the predecessor. Yes, it’s disappointing to see that Google is still shipping the Pixel 5a 5G with SD765G SoC as we already got the upgraded SD780G SoC.
The leak was confirmed through codes found on the new Android 12 Developer Preview 3 ROM. The codes mentioned the Pixel 5a 5G model number with SD765G codename. Apart from this nothing much about the new Google Pixel 5a 5G is been leaked. So we have to wait and watch at what price tag does the new Pixel 5a 5G will land in the market.
Do note that there will also be a 4G only variant too with Pixel 5a and as of now we are not sure which chipset will be powering the device.
