After the launch of Asus ROG Phone 5, the brand is planning to introduce a premium flagship soon with Zenfone 8 series. In the past, we got enough leaks revealing some of the details of the new Asus Zenfone 8 series which will also include the compact flagship Zenfone 8 Mini.
Now Asus has officially started teasing the launch of its next premium flagship with the new Zenfone 8 series. Yes, Asus’s upcoming Zenfone 8 series is all set to launch globally on May 12. The event will be streamed in three regions with Taipei, Berlin, and New York. Not just that the teaser also mentions the tagline as Big on Performance and compact in size.
This tagline confirms that Asus gonna launch its first compact flagship with the new Zenfone 8 Mini. More details will be out in the coming weeks. As per various leaks, the new Asus Zenfone 8 may no longer come with rotating rear cameras and will stick to standard design this year. The new Asus Zenfone 8 series will be powered by SD888 SoC and might feature an FHD+ AMOLED display this year.
