Samsung is back with some bad news for those waiting to buy the Note lineup this year. Previously we saw various leaks about Samsung might ditch the Galaxy Note lineup for foldable phones. Now, this rumour is turned out to be real after all as the company officially revealed no Galaxy Note21 this year.
As per the reports, at the annual shareholder meeting held in Suwon, South Korea Samsung revealed that they will skip the Galaxy Note lineup this year. The reason for ditching the Galaxy Note lineup this year is with a serious imbalance of semiconductors globally. As we saw Qualcomm is facing a huge delay with rising demand they are unable to meet the requirement this year.
Samsung also said that they are keen to unveil new smartphones but due to the huge demand for chips this year they are unable to launch. This led to the delay in the launch of the Galaxy Note series by one year and might launch later next year.
