Realme has finally launched the much-awaited first 108MP camera phone aka Realme 8 Pro in India. Not just that Realme also launched the affordable Realme 8 at the event. The new Realme 8 in Cyber Silver and Cyber Black & Realme 8 Pro will arrive in Infinite Blue & Infinite Black colors. The Realme 8 series will be exclusive to Flipkart in India and will go on sale from March 25.

Design:
Realme 8 & Realme 8 Pro do feature polycarbonate back with a matte finish. The Realme 8 & Realme 8 Pro measures 8mm & 8.1 mm thick & weighs around 177g and 176g in weight. It comes with an all-new design featuring a huge square-shaped camera setup on the back and a punch-hole display on the front. Realme 8 which too looks identical to the Realme 8 Pro with a square-shaped quad-camera setup and LED flash. It too carries the huge Dare to Leap branding on the back.
Specs:
The Realme 8 & Realme 8 Pro will sport 6.4 inches Super AMOLED FHD+ display with standard 60Hz refresh rates. Both of them come with in-display fingerprint scanner support.
Sadly, the Realme 8 will not come with 5G support but will ship with the same Realme 7 powered MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. The Realme 8 Pro with the outdated SD720G SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options. Both the devices do feature a dedicated microSD card slot.
Cameras:
The Realme 8 will again come with the same 64MP quad-camera setup which we saw in many of the Realme phones in the past. The Realme 8 features a 64MP 1/1.73″ Sony IMX682 main sensor with an aperture of f/1.7 with EIS, 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.3, 2MP 4cm macro sensor & 2MP B&W portrait camera with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash.
The Realme 8 Pro features a 108MP Samsung HM2 main sensor with f/1.8 coupled with an 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.3, 2MP 4cm macro sensor & 2MP B&W portrait camera with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash. Realme added to the 108MP sensor is the new Tilt-shift time-lapse video. Yes, the world’s first Tilt-shift time-lapse video will use an algorithm to capture tilt-shift photos and videos. Not just that this mode will also help us to select the angle, position, and bokeh size directly from the camera settings. Further one can also add transition effects between blurred and clear areas. The World’s first Tilt-shift video capture device will be the new Realme 8 Pro.
There is a 16MP selfie shooter on Realme 8 & Realme 8 Pro gets a 32MP selfie shooter.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Dual Frequency (L1 + L5) GPS, NavIC (Realme 7 Pro), A-GPS, GLONASS (Realme 7), USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack with Hi-Res support, FM Radio and Bluetooth 5.0. The Realme 8 comes with a 5000 mAh battery along with 30W Dart fast charging support. The Realme 8 Pro packs a 4500 mAh battery with 50W Super Dart Charing support.

Realme 8 will arrive with 4GB+128GB at Rs.14,999/- 6GB+128GB storage at a price tag of Rs.15,999/- & 8GB+128GB at Rs.16,999/- in India. Further, the first 108MP camera from Realme aka Realme 8 Pro with 6GB+128GB cost Rs.17,999/-. The Realme 8 Pro with 8GB+128GB may cost Rs.19,999/- in India. It also gets flat 10% cash back for ICICI debit/credit card users.
Realme Smart Scale:
Realme also introduces new AIOT products with its very own smart weighing scale called Realme Smart Scale. It can measure your health with weight as it gets real-time heart rate monitoring too. It comes with a year-long battery life that lasts for 360 days. The Realme Smart Scale costs Rs.1999/- and will go on sale from March 30 through Flipkart and Amazon.
