Qualcomm announced the new mid-range chipset with SD768 SoC later last year which made its way to very limited devices. Previously we even got leaks revealing the details of the upcoming SD775 SoC which will be the successor to SD765G. But till today the company has not yet announced the new premium mid-range chipset aka SD775 SoC.
We are still not sure whether the upcoming chipset will be named SD775 SoC or will get a completely different name SD788 SoC. Now one of the sources has just leaked the specs of the upcoming SD775/SD775G SoC. As per the source, the new SD775 SoC will be built on new 5nm process similar to SD888 SoC. It comes with a new Kyro 6xx CPU with support for LPDDR5/LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 Two-Lane HS Gear 4.
The SD775 SoC will come with Spectra 570 ISP which gets 4K video recording at 60fps. The processor can even handle a triple 28MP sensor along with a 64MP+20MP sensor at the same time. The connectivity option includes Wi-Fi 6E with 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2 (codenamed Milan), LTE Cat.18, Dual 5G, mmWave 5G, SA and NSA support, VoNR and NR CA, supporting 4×4 MIMO on the downlink and 2×2 MIMO on the uplink for Sub-6 5G.
The SD775 SoC will also get new audio chip with WCD9380/WCD9385.
