Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has now introduced two new flagships with the new Redmi K40 & Redmi K40 Pro which are priced competitively. After the success of the K30 series, we finally have the Redmi K40 here with both the Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro & premium Redmi K40 Pro+ announced in a single event this year.

Redmi K40 5G comes with an almost similar design as the Mi 11 and the only difference is in terms of processor. The new Redmi K40 5G comes with a 3D curved frosted glass body with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Both the device measures 7.8 mm thick and weighs 196 grams.
The Redmi K40 5G sport the new Samsung E4 AMOLED 6.67 inches FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rates. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top and HDR 10 support. Redmi K40 5G is powered by new SD870G SoC with Snapdragon X52 modem for 5G. The Redmi K40 5G comes with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage version with a microSD card slot.
The new Redmi K40 5G features triple-rear cameras with 48MP Sony IMX582 primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.89, OIS support, 8MP 120-degrees Ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2, & 5MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, 1.75μm with LED flash. It comes with 4K video recording at 30fps and 720p at 960fps. The Redmi K40 5G comes with single selfie cameras with a 20MP sensor.
The new Redmi K40 will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with an IR blaster.
