Redmi is about to announce its first K-series smartphone this year with the new Redmi K40 & Redmi K40 Pro. Ahead of the official launch now we have got the pricing details of the new Redmi K40 series. As per the source, the new Redmi K40 will arrive with extremely competitive pricing in China.
Previously we got to know that the Redmi K40 series will use SD888 SoC coupled with fast storage options. We even got to know that the Redmi K40 series will sport Samsung’s latest E4 AMOLED display the same one found on Mi 11. Now finally we have the pricing details out for the new Redmi K40 & Redmi K40 Pro.
As per the source, the new Redmi K40 with 6GB+128GB cost around 2199 Yuan (Rs.24,800/-) whereas the Redmi K40 Pro with 8GB+128GB at 3199 (Rs.36,000/-) in China. Further, another leak reveals the pricing of the 8GB+128GB version of Redmi K40 which cost 2399 Yuan (Rs.27,000/-) and 8GB+256GB at 2599 Yuan (Rs.29,000/-). The Redmi K40 Pro with 6GB+128GB cost 2999 Yuan (Rs.33,600/-) & 8GB+256GB at 3399 Yuan (Rs.38,100/-) in China.
Further, the official teaser reveals that the Redmi K40 series gets Dual Hi-Res Gold Audio certification. This means that the Redmi K40 series will come with support for LDAC or LHDC protocol.
