Asus is back in news after the launch of the Zenfone 7 series which went official last year. We saw Asus also introducing the ROG Phone 3 with SD865+ SoC which did fairly well when compared with its predecessor. Now Asus is all set to introduce its first gaming flagship of 2021 with Asus ROG Phone 5.
Previously we saw official teasers and even leaks about Asus ROG Phone 5 will soon go official in India. Now Asus has officially revealed the launch date for the new Asus ROG Phone 5. As per the post, Asus will launch the Asus ROG Phone 5 globally on March 9 and March 10 based on region.
The launch event will be live-streamed on March 10 starting from 7 PM (UTC+8) in Taipei and 12AM (UTC+1) in Berlin. For people in the US, the event will start in at early morning at 6 AM (UTC-5) on March 9. The listing didn’t reveal much about the device but as per various leaks, Asus ROG Phone 5 will be powered by SD888 SoC and comes with a secondary display for some markets.
