Apple introducing the cheaper & compact iPhone with the new iPhone SE 2020 last year which was even popular. Previous reports revealed Apple had plans of launching bigger and better iPhone SE aka the iPhone SE Plus later this year. Now we have a new report that probably disappoints many of them who were waiting for the new iPhone SE this year.
As per the popular analyst JP Morgan Chase, Apple might not launch any iPhone SE model this year. Yes, the report reveals Apple isn’t impressed with the sales figure of the iPhone 12 Mini nor the iPhone SE as both of them do come with smaller screen sizes. So Apple has now decided to push the launch of the next iPhone SE aka iPhone SE 3 to 2022.
Further, the report also reveals more details about the iPhone SE 3 which will no longer come with a compact size form-factor. Yes, the report reveals that iPhone SE 3 will arrive with a larger display this time which will now use iPhone 11 6.1 inches LCD display. So we can now say that iPhone SE 3 will nothing but rebranded iPhone 11 that will launch in 2022.
Not just that, the iPhone SE 3 will even have same 12MP dual-rear cameras with a 120-degree ultra-wide sensor as the iPhone 11. The only change will be in terms of processor, the iPhone SE 3 will be using the latest Apple A14 Bionic SoC which is been powered on the latest iPhone 12 series.
As the iPhone SE 3 is a budget iPhone Apple might remove the support for 5G networks. Lastly, the report also mentions that iPhone SE 3 is likely to feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
