Samsung is all set to launch the new Galaxy S21 series pretty soon this year as per various leaks. But still, Samsung has not yet announced when exactly the new flagship Galaxy S21 series will be out. Previously we had got detailed specs of the top-end model Galaxy S21 Ultra and now the same source has just leaked the specs of Galaxy S21 & Galaxy S21+.
Design:
As per the source, the new Galaxy S21 & Galaxy S21+ will look exactly similar to each other hardly any differences apart from display size. Both the devices feature the same set of triple rear cameras and come with a center punch-hole display. The Galaxy S21 measures 7.8 mm thick and Galaxy S21+ with 7.9 mm. The Galaxy S21 weighs 177g and Galaxy S21+ with 202g in weight.
The Galaxy S21 will arrive in gray, white, purple, and pink whereas the Galaxy S21+ in silver, black and purple colors.
Display & Processor:
The new Galaxy S21 & Galaxy S21+ will be using the same resolution display this time which is disappointing. The Galaxy S21 & Galaxy S21+ will sport 6.2 inches and 6.7 inches FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O display on the front. It comes with 60Hz to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate support and Corning Gorilla Glass 7 on top.
The Galaxy S21 & Galaxy S21+ are powered by the same Exynos 2100 SoC or the SD888 SoC depending on regions. It comes with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.
Cameras:
The Galaxy S21 & Galaxy S21+ will ship with triple rear cameras with a 12MP main sensor having an aperture of f/1.8, OIS, and a sensor size of 1/1.76″ with 79-degrees FOV. It features a 64MP telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.0, a sensor size of 1/1.76″ with 76-degrees FOV, OIS support with 3x hybrid zoom and PDAF. There is a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 having FO of 120-degrees and a sensor size of 1/2.55″.
Still, both the Galaxy S21 & Galaxy S21+ come with the same 10MP selfie sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. Both the devices feature 8K video recording support at 30fps, 4K @60fps & FHD at 120fps.
Connectivity & Battery:
The Galaxy S21 & Galaxy S21+ comes with standard connectivity options like Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, VoLTE, 5G, Wifi 6x, NFC, USB Type-C port, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.1, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner support.
The Galaxy S21 packs a 4000 mAh & Galaxy S21+ with a 4800 battery and supports 45W fast wired charging. It also comes with 9W reverse and 15W wireless charging support. The Galaxy S21 & Galaxy S21+ will also have support for water and dust resistance as it has got IP68 rating. It runs on Android 11 OS with One UI 3.1 on top.
