Previously we saw Oppo officially revealing the details about the Oppo Find X3 series will be the first flagship from the company. Even we got rumours about Oppo Find X3 series might be out by Feb or March 2021. Now we have a new leak coming out for the first flagship of 2021 aka Oppo Find X3 series.
After launching the first Sony’s 50MP sensor aka IMX766 with Oppo Reno5 Pro+ last week, the company has still not done with Sony. Yes, Oppo is currently working closely with Sony to launch another flagship aka Oppo Find X3 series with very first Sony camera sensor soon. As per the source, the Oppo Find X3 series might be the first device to ship with unannounced Sony IMX789 sensor.
This is not the first time Oppo and Sony in news back in the past with Oppo Find X2 series also made debut with a custom Sony IMX689 sensor which is 48MP camera. It arrived with a large pixel size of 1/1.43” which was too big for a smartphone. Not just that the sensor also arrived with dual native ISO with an aperture of f/1.7 & 25 mm equivalent focal length.
With this, we can consider that Sony IMX789 might be the direct successor to Sony IMX689 and one can expect another camera marvel soon with Oppo Find X3 series. As of now, there is hardly any details available for the new Sony IMX789 sensor.
