Huawei finally announced its successor to Nova 7 series with two new devices under the mid-range segment aka the Huawei Nova 8 & Nova 8 Pro. The new Huawei Nova 8 & Nova 8 Pro will come with an all-new design with a unique camera module featuring quad-cameras.
Design:
Both the new Huawei Nova 8 & Nova 8 Pro will come with new AG anti-glare glass technology on the back that reflects light at certain angles. Both the devices look similar in terms of design and only differ in terms of selfie camera. Yes, the Huawei Nova 8 features a single selfie shooter whereas the dual one on the Huawei Nova 8 Pro. The HUAWEI Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro come in Midnight Black, Silver, Forest Green, and Midsummer Purple colours. The Huawei Nova 8 measures 7.64 mm and Nova 8 Pro with 7.85 mm thick. The Huawei Nova 8 weighs 169g and Nova 8 Pro at 184g.
Display & Processor:
The new Huawei Nova 8 sport 6.53 inches FHD+ OLED display with 90Hz refresh rates. The Huawei Nova 8 Pro with 6.72 inches FHD+ OLED waterfall display with a pill-shaped notch and 120Hz refresh rates. Both the Huawei Nova 8 & Nova 8 Pro are powered by Kirin 985 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.
Cameras:
The Huawei Nova 8, Huawei Nova 8 Pro feature quad-rear cameras. The Huawei Nova 8 & Nova 8 Pro features 64MP main wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/1.9, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.4, 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with PDAF, EIS. Huawei Nova 8 with 32MP both having an aperture of f/2.0. The Huawei Nova 8 Pro feature dual selfie camera with 32MP main sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 16MP f/2.2 portrait sensor.

The connectivity option includes Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Dual SIM with 4G LTE and 5G support, USB Type-C port, in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual Frequency GPS, and NavIC. The new Huawei Nova 8 & Huawei Nova 8 Pro packs 3800 mAh & 4000 mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging support. Both the devices run on Android 10 with EMUI 11 on top.
Pricing:
The Huawei Nova 8 with 8GB+128GB at 3299 Yuan (Rs.37,200/-) and 8GB+256GB at 3699 Yuan (Rs.41,800/-). The new Huawei Nova 8 Pro with 8GB+128GB at 3999 Yuan (Rs.45,000/-) and 8GB+256GB at 4399 Yuan (Rs.49,700/-) in China. Both the devices will go on sale from Dec 30 in China.
