Redmi Note 9

After the success of the Redmi Note 9 series which was launched earlier this year in India. It had never made its way to China and now the company is planning to bring one under the Redmi Note 9 series. Yes, Xiaomi might launch the 5G version of the new Redmi Note 9 series soon in China.

As per the source, Xiaomi might introduce two budget 5G phones in China under the Redmi Note 9 series. The two phones will be called Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 5G Standard Edition and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition. The new Redmi Note 9 5G SE will have smaller display with the same specs whereas the Redmi Note 9 5G HE will arrive with a top-notch camera and a better display.

Redmi Note 9 5G Standard Edition:

The new Redmi Note 9 5G will sport a smaller 6.53 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display with a punch-hole on the top-left corner. It will feature triple rear cameras with 48MP main, 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth and a 13MP selfie shooter. It measures 161.96 x 77.35 x 9.2mm and it weighs 200 grams.

Redmi Note 9 5G

The Redmi Note 9 5G will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. All this is packed by a 5000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. It runs on Android 10 with MIUI 12 on top.

Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition:

The next is the most powerful smartphone Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition. The new Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition will sport 6.67 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display. It comes with a center punch-hole notch and features a 120Hz refresh rate & 240Hz Touch sampling rate.

The new Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition features quad-cameras with Samsung ISOCELL HM2 108MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide. The last two are 2MP sensor acting as depth and macro. The device comes with a 16MP selfie shooter.

The Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition is powered by SD750G SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB storage. The new Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition will ship with a lower 4820 mAh battery and 33W fast charging support. In short the Redmi Note 9 5G HE is nothing but rebranded Mi 10T Lite with an upgraded camera.
