Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has also unveiled the new Redmi Watch which is the cheaper version of Mi Watch. Redmi Watch comes with square-shaped display with all-plastic body to keep the cost low. It will be available in four colours with Elegant Black, Ivory White, and Ink Blue colour rubber straps.
The new Redmi Watch comes with the squarish display on the front with a single button on the side. It features a silicone strap which might be user-replaceable. Redmi Watch which sports 1.42 inches HD colour display.
The Redmi Watch comes with GPS, swim-proof design and 24-hour heart rate tracking. It comes with Bluetooth 5.1 support and comes 230 mAh battery with 5W charging support. The new Redmi Watch comes with 5ATM waterproof and weighs about 32g. The device also gets heart rate sensor and support for NFC.
The company reveals that Redmi Watch will last for 7-days on single charge. It features 7 sports mode like outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, walking, swimming in the pool, and free activities and comes with 120+ watch faces. The device will also have support for Xiao AI which is the company’e custom AI as it comes with mic.
The new Redmi Watch cost 299 Yuan (Rs.3500/-) in China.
