Looks like Samsung is telling goodbye to the Galaxy Note series after almost 10 years of its debut. We even saw the Galaxy Note 20 series didn’t perform well this year probably due to lack of innovation or features. Now we have a new leak coming from a reliable tipster Ice Universe.
As per the source, Samsung is now planning to completely ditch the Galaxy Note series for the upcoming rollable smartphone. Yes, you heard it right the tipster claims that Samsung may replace the Note series with the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold S next year. The tipster also states that Samsung might be the first brand to launch the rollable display solution to end-users next year.
The new Galaxy Z Fold S will use a similar display as shown by Oppo with Oppo X 2021. The device will expand in and out with just a single touch. So it’s too early to comment on the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold S. The tipster claims that S stands for Scroll under the Galaxy Z Fold S.
More details will be out in the coming months, as the device will not launch anytime sooner than late 2021.
