After back to back leaks for the upcoming OnePlus 9 series we saw two popular websites being pulling out the details of the devices. Initially we got the CAD renders of the new OnePlus 9 later the popular tipster OnLeaks revealed the OnePlus 9 Pro CAD renders.
We even saw the live image of the camera module for the new OnePlus 9 too. Now OnePlus CEO Pete Lau commented about the new OnePlus 9 Pro. As per the tweet, Pete Lau stated that “No design is ever set in stone” which indirectly reveals that OnePlus 9 Pro will not look as shown in the leaked renders.
This was even told by the tipster as these were early prototype of the OnePlus 9 Pro and might change the camera module design in coming weeks. Continuing with the tweet, Pete Lau revealed that OnePlus 9 Pro will be lighter than the predecessor. So we can expect the device to weigh around 180g instead of 199g on the predecessor.
So probably OnePlus is too angry with the leaks making round four months ahead of the official launch and even sources reveals that they have started the investigation. We have to wait for the official announcement to know more about the new OnePlus 9 Pro.
