Previously we got reports about Samsung planning an early launch of the new Galaxy S21 series. We even got the firmware development being started for the Galaxy S21 series including the renders of the device. Not just that, we even spotted the Galaxy S21 series passing through various certification sites.
New reports are coming in right from South Korea for the Galaxy S21 series. As per the source, the new Galaxy S21 series is expected to launch earlier than the Galaxy S20 launch. Yes, the report reveals that the Galaxy S21 series will have an unpack event sometime in mid-Jan 2021.
Yup, it’s a month earlier than the Galaxy S20 series launch. Not just that, the Galaxy S21 series will even go on sale earlier this year right from early Feb or late Jan 2021. We are still not sure why Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S21 series earlier than the usual launch. We can expect Samsung might want to give tough competition to the iPhone 12 series.
Anyway, these are just reports we have to wait for the official announcement to know more about the Galaxy S21 series launch details.
Galaxy S21 Ultra Specs:
As per the tipster, the new Galaxy S21 Ultra will still feature the same 108MP camera from the predecessor. Apart from that, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will now ship with a whopping 40MP selfie shooter that huge bump. Lastly, the tipster also confirmed that Galaxy S21 Ultra will sport the same 6.8 inches OLED curved display but with 144 Hz refresh rates.
Sadly, we still not sure about the remaining camera module details but the source expects that one could be ultra-wide, the other with a telephoto lens we are still clueless about the fourth sensor at the moment. The tipster confirmed that Galaxy S21 Ultra will come in both SD875 SoC and Exynos 2100 SoC. The Exynos 2100 SoC will still use the ARM designed cores and will not have the NVIDIA made GPU this year.
Previous leaks revealed the Galaxy S21 Ultra will arrive with 5000 mAh battery and will have 65W fast charging support. It will run on Android 11 with One UI 3.0 on top. Further, we have got another leak that might reveal the software details.
As per the source, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will run on the latest Android 11 OS with One UI 3.1 on top. Yes, not the 3.0 but One UI 3.1 this time which is currently under development
